Long cut dry pasta - Nigeria, 6.000 kg/h
Case history

Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, the largest single mill in the world with its rated milling capacity of over 8,000 metric tons per day, established the first pasta plant in Nigeria in 1972 and called it the Golden Penny Pasta. This brand is today widely acknowledged as the best pasta money-can-buy in Nigeria.

In order to achieve the ambitious plans of growth in pasta production, a modern production plant was completed in 2014 at Agbara, 40 km east from Lagos.
This production facility has been designed with striving targets in terms of energy saving and high production efficiency.

Next to the first short cut pasta line installed (7.000 kg/h), Pavan is now completing the installation of two state-of-the-art long cut pasta lines (6.000 kg/h each) at Golden Penny plant, Agbara.
The video shows the first of these two lines, completed September 2015. It is completely equipped by Pavan, including the packaging system branded Stiavelli.
