The new generation production lines of Dry pasta Division have been presented in absolute preview with the Press 260/2 model with an output capacity of 6000 kg/hr for long cut pasta. Same press is suitable also for short cut pasta production, reaching an output up to 7200 kg/hr. To complete the plant, a multiple spreader has been shown. Fresh Pasta Division proposed in this edition, under Toresani Foodmac historical brands, a section of a ready-made meals production line, consisting of the very new solutions for short and long cut pasta loading and multiple channels weighing, as well as a cooking machine with washing and cooling section. In the sphere of the new proposals for laminated and/or filled fresh pasta, the new kneader-sheeter SPS and the new forming machine MRS have been exhibited. The latter was equipped with a high efficient system for die change and can be amply customized in the versions with filling continuous loading, or alternate, or with a pump for filling located on machine side, thus allowing the utilization of creamy and non-minced fillings. Finally to complete the fresh pasta machines review , Pavan exhibited the innovative mixing/sheeting machine MKS: this is a compact machine allowing the production of laminated pasta, performing both mixing and lamination processes in a unique body. Mapimpianti Division , besides a complete range of snack/pellets, breakfast cereals and baby foods samples, showed a wider selection of other special products feasible thanks to the constant evolution in the study of alimentary technologies by R&D Division. In fact varied samples of non traditional pasta (based on maize, rice, quinoa, kamut), oriental pasta and ready meals have been presented. Interesting news also for Stiavelli Division , historical brand for packaging, now division of Pavan Group, which showed at Ipack-Ima for the first time some new wholly automatic systems: the new vertical packaging machine SVMC-Electronic model for the production of pillow bags or square bottom bags, coupled with the multi-head weigher SPC14; the high speed packaging system, especially designed for snacks, composed by a multi-head weigher SPC 14 S and a vertical continuous packaging machine SVMC/S-Electronic; one packaging machine SVMA-M designed to produce four-side seals bags, coupled to a multi-head weigher SPC10. |

More about Ipack-Ima Expo |
IPACK-IMA is an all inclusive event that enhances some special areas such as the processing, bottling and packaging technology for the beverage industry; grain based food technology; materials and solutions for the packaging industry and equipment for industrial logistics and material handling. IPACK-IMA today enjoys the reputation of being one of the world's leading exhibitions where manufacturers display grain based food technology: processing and packaging equipment for the production of bread, pizza, pasta, and bakery goods. IPACK-IMA easily has the most extensive display of pasta machinery of any exhibition in the world. It is the only trade event worldwide that displays all the technology that is available for the production of dry pasta. |

There are reasons why IPACK-IMA has evolved into such an impressive showcase of grain based food technology. First, Italy is the world's top pasta producer, with a production of 3,100,843 tons per year. Second, of all the countries in the world, Italy ranks first in consumption of pasta per capita, at 28.0 kg per year. Third, Italy has been experiencing a boom in exports of pasta products, which now accounts for 50% of the country's production. The growth of the grain based food in Italy is not limited to pasta. The latest data shows a 7.2 % growth in baked goods production. In fact, all of Europe has been enjoying growth in grain based food, particularly the production and consumption of biscuits, cookies and pastries. At the last IPACK IMA event there were no less than 200 companies displaying grain based food technology. IPACK- IMA 2006 will highlight those exhibitors who are offering packaging materials and solutions. As a result, at IPACK- IMA 2006 it will be much easier for packaging designers and engineers to find solutions to their packaging needs. IPACK-IMA 2006 is organized by Ipack-Ima S.p.A. and is promoted by ANIMA , the Federation of the Italian Associations of Mechanical and Engineering Industries, and UCIMA , Italian Association of Automatic Packing and Packaging Machinery Manufacturers. |
