Founded in 1946, Pavan has grown to reach its present organization thanks to the merger of leading companies supplying food equipment to the food industry. High technology, acquired experience in 60 years of activity, skilled personnel shared among the group and innovative solutions represent a real competitive advantage for any company to match the new production needs and wishing to improve its business.

In 2010 with the acquisition of GBS Group under the new company Golfetto Sangati SpA, Pavan is in the position to offer and provide our customers with a broader range of solutions and services, equipment and systems to complete and integrate food processing lines with cereal and flour milling systems.

The sales turnover of the Pavan Group in 2010 amounted to 107 millions Euro, 95% of exports sales in 120 countries. The Group consist of about 450 people.

Manufacturing Divisions & Subsidiary Companies
Six brands identify the machinery and equipment engineered and built by the Group.

Pavan produces long-cut pasta equipments, spaghetti lines, plants for macaroni, short-cut pasta equipments, nest shaped dry pasta (nidi) and couscous production systems.
Mapimpianti produces cooking extrusion systems for snacks, pellets and direct expanded snacks, breakfast cereals, baby food, flakes and shaped cereals, precooked pasta and precooked flours.
Toresani produces machinery for filled fresh pasta (tortellini, ravioli, cappelletti), flat fresh pasta (tagliatelle, tagliolini, lasagna, cannelloni), extruded fresh pasta, ready meals, gnocchi, etc.
Montoni produces dies for food equipments, die washing machines, automatic pasta cutting systems.
Stiavelli and Dizma are specialized for packaging systems for food industry, confectionary, bakery products and other “non-food” goods.
Pizeta is the subsidiary company which supplies complete turnkey systems for conveying, dosing, cleaning, recycling and storing of flours, cereals, short-cut pasta, fine products, coffee, food pellets and plastics.
Golfetto Sangati with the well know manufacturing brands Golfetto, Berga and Sangati offers equipment and systems for flour milling and animal feed industries, grain storage and handling terminals, biofuels production as well.

Pavan Group at Ipack-ima 2012
Trade Fair Preview.
Pavan Group will be welcoming visitors of the 2012 IPACK IMA in a comprehensive stand housing all major divisions: from dry Pasta, fresh pasta and snacks, to packaging equipment by Stiavelli and Dizma, from milling technology by Golfetto Sangati, to storing, mixing and handling solutions by Pizeta.

Dry Pasta Training Course – November 2011.
The next edition of the Pavan School of Food Technology will be held by the end of November 2011 with topics dedicated to dry pasta & production systems. The new edition will be integrated with practical tests in Pavan’s R&D laboratory plant.

Pavan Group continues double-digit growth - The Pavan Group announced final results for 2010 with revenues growing 30% to 107 million Euros. Also profitability has increased significantly: EBITDA amounts 17 million Euros (+ 45%) and net income 4.8 million Euros, more than double as compared with 2009. The reasons for this extraordinarily positive performance are to be found in the strong capabilities of product innovation, in the global sales network around the world, in the strong demand for innovative and reliable food manufacturing technologies from developing and emerging Countries, and in the incipient economic recovery of key markets such as North America. Ready to eat Meals based on Rice Pastas - It is from the end of 80’s that Pavan, being aware of the increasing trend of the number of persons suffering from celiac disease, developed an industrial technology for the production of non-gluten dry pastas; at the end of 90’s, the same development has been extended for many non-gluten containing raw materials and subsequently applied for fresh and filled pastas products; an example of such further development in the pasta sector going into maturity just in this period, is the setting up of a process for the production of instant pasta meals prepared from rice pasta (lasagna and ravioli) and “ricotta” cheese – spinach sauce... Non Traditional Pasta: Process and Technology - A general overview about 'traditional pasta' technology will be presented at the ASMP Symposium in Caciulata, Valcea County, Romania. The event is organised every year by the ASMP - the Milling and Baking Specialists  National Association , Romania in collaboration with IBA - the Institute of Food Bioresources, with the support of Rompan - National Organisation of the milling and breadmaking companies. Pavan: “ stars and stripes “ spaghetti - The Pavan Group, worldwide leader in the industrial construction of food processing plants and machinery, has recently installed in the United States of America and successfully commissioned, for an important brand in the “food” market, a new spaghetti production line. The “turnkey” plant achieves the complete production cycle, right from the raw materials/semolina supply up to the final palletization of the finished product. The daily production capacity is equal to 100 tons that will very soon be doubled, when a sister plant will be delivered within this year. The entire production is for the American market. Advanced courses on production technology of dry and fresh pasta - The new courses organized by Pavan will be based on scientific and technological frontal lessons; it will include also practical tests in Pavan laboratory and experimental kitchen.(read more)

 
Pavan towards excellence in its organization - The Pavan Group, leading corporation in the engineering and construction of machinery and plants for the food industry, has recently obtained the certification "COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE" from EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management). Pavan, constantly receptive to the market dynamics and to the new scenarios in which an enterprise is called to compete, has successfully started  a project for the adoption of one "Excellence Model" derived from concepts of Total Quality Management.
